Frequently asked questions
Is this tax or financial advice?
No. Every SteadyKeel tool, downloaded or hosted, is a planning aid — it does maths on the numbers you give it. It doesn't know your full tax position, allowances, or circumstances. Check anything that matters with an accountant or HMRC before you rely on it.
What's the difference between a one-off tool and the Pass?
A one-off tool is an Excel file you buy once and keep — it works in Excel or Google Sheets, on your own machine, forever. The Pass is the same tools running as a web app: your numbers save to your account automatically, work on your phone or laptop, and you always get the latest version plus any new tool that ships. Same maths either way.
Can I cancel the Pass anytime?
Yes — from your account page, any time, no notice period. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for, then it stops. Your data stays put in case you rejoin later; delete your account instead if you'd rather it was gone immediately. See Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Do I need a password?
No — sign in with a one-time link emailed to you. Nothing to remember, nothing to leak in a breach. It does mean your SteadyKeel account is only as secure as your email account, so keep that locked down (a strong password, two-factor if your email provider offers it).
Can I use the Pass on more than one device?
Yes. Sign in with the same email on your phone, laptop, whatever — your data follows you, since it's saved to your account, not the device.
What happens to my data?
It's used only to run your account and the tools — never sold, never used for advertising. You can export everything or delete your account at any point from your account page. Full detail: Privacy Policy.
Can I get a refund?
One-off files are delivered instantly on payment, so they're non-refundable — but if a file is actually broken or won't open, email us and we'll sort it (a working copy or a refund, your choice). Pass payments aren't refunded for unused time, but you can cancel anytime so you're never paying for a month you didn't want.
Who actually runs SteadyKeel?
Graham, a UK sole trader. Payments are handled by Stripe (merchant of record for the Pass, shown as "Onelink" on your statement), and the site runs on Cloudflare. No investors, no support team behind a ticket queue — just email hello@steadykeel.co.uk and a real person reads it.
Something's not working — what do I do?
Email hello@steadykeel.co.uk with what happened. That's genuinely the fastest route for anything: a broken download, a login issue, a billing question, or just a question this page didn't answer.
